Re: ADENA V PORTSMOUTH
Adena should win by about 20 but you never know what could happen in tournament play. Portsmouth does have the athletes to pull the upset off. Adena pulls away late in 4th quarter and wins by 11
Re: ADENA V PORTSMOUTH
Portsmouth by 1-2.... or Adena by 20+.
If Portsmouth can get a lead early and show they're capable, I like their odds of an upset.
If Adena jumps on them early, I see a blowout going the other way.

Re: ADENA V PORTSMOUTH
I was told today Adenas top player is hurt? Not sure that is true. I don’t know anything about Adena but I’ve watched Portsmouth. And the games I watched were not very good. I’m hoping for the upset. Trojans need to play hard and leave it on the court.

Agree with bbjunky
Adena gets out good and the could pull away and win pretty easily...but Portsmouth in tourney time and game stays close, could be an exciting finish

Re: ADENA V PORTSMOUTH
I think the Trojans after there payback dramatic win over Portsmouth West, will give one of the best all around efforts of the year against Adena. After the up and down year that they have had, I'm sure they are feeling pretty good about themselves and will be playing with a lot of confidence. As the other poster said, if they can stay pretty close early on, they may be a pretty hard team to beat.

Re: ADENA V PORTSMOUTH
I do think it is very important for the Trojans to not fall behind early.....say 8-10 points. Portsmouth is not a catch up team due to their offensive struggles. I also think that Portsmouth's quickness will be an asset on defense. Coach Collins had an aggressive defensive plan against West and stayed with it despite the Senators being in the double bonus rather early. In the end, his plan won the game.
The Trojans can definitely win this game.......but they will have to rise up......Adena will prove to be a tough opponent.......a trip to Athens awaits the winner. Portsmouth will be playing for a SE-best 65th sectional championship.
GO TROJANS!!

Re: ADENA V PORTSMOUTH
Adena will win if the game doesn't go Portsmouth's way but Portsmouth definitely has to play like they did vs Burg and Monday's game vs the Senators if they want to win. Portsmouth has to REALLY want it. They also need to do a better job with free throws. Free-throws almost cost them the game vs. West. I hope the Trojans pull it off and I am looking forward to a very exciting game
Re: ADENA V PORTSMOUTH
Lattimore and Fraulini have been stellar from behind the arc with Shipp and McKinley dominating the post
Re: ADENA V PORTSMOUTH
It seems that Portsmouth will get a series of calls going for them then it will flip and Adena will get all the calls but the overall rating of officiating is still good.
