56-54 as Myers scores on the drive, 4.2 sec left, time-out.

I knew that you can never under estimate Warren, from now on I will never doubt that they have enough left in the "Tank" after playing 3 straight tough ballgames. Logan has also played 3 tough games in a row, and this sounds as if it was a slugfest from start to finish. It's a shame that either team had to walk away from this knock down drag out with a loss.

Warren didn't play it's starting lineup until after the 4 minute mark in the 1st quarter ! senior night tradition - Coach Maddox started/played all of his seniors ... hmmmmmmmm would the starters have added at least 2 or 4 more points ? we will never know ... great game right down to the end ... very physical, defensive battle on both sides ... Logan had to sub in at the guard position due to starters fouling out in the last minute and a half ... Warren almost had the take away from Logan on the perimeter - time out just in time by the Logan bench ... side out Logan :28.8 seconds to play 54-54 ... Logan did a nice job of hiding their weaknesses and getting the ball in the hands of the right players which was Bo Myers to the paint off the dribble ... Bo KNOWS basketball and Bo KNOWS how to score LOL ... into the paint off the dribble , floater from right to left for 2 and the lead 56-54 ... 4.2 on the clock ... Seth Dennis went the length of the court for the last shot around the rim for the tie ... bounced off ... Logan escaped the WarriorDome 56-54 a final ...

... Pfloyd's Official "un-official" Napkin Stats - Warren ...

Scoring ...Clay Miller 16, Seth Dennis 14, Noah Nichols 14, Brandon Simonette 5, Austin Barta 2, Gabe Venham 2, Bryce Knost 1
3 Pointers ... 3/11 ... Noah Nichols 2, Brandon Simonette 1
FTs ... 25/27
TOs ... 9
PnP ... 8 fgs/16 points in the paint
PnT ... 0

... the Warriors go 1-1 vs the SE districts only 2 D1 Teams beating Chillicothe @ Chilli last night 50-48 ... took Logan to the final buzzer before losing 54-56 ... pretty strong showings for the BBB going into Sectional play at Logan where they will take on Vinton County Friday night ... Coach Maddox looked to have his Warriors play solid defense on Bo Myers knowing he was going to "get his" while the Warrior D worked hard to take away/limit the rest of the Logan offensive weapons - Cassady 3 points/Coby Bell 6 pts/ Wes Brooks 2/ Caleb Bell did the damage scoring scoring in double figures 13 pts with 3 triples ... 4 minutes of the first quarter with 2 starters in the game for Warren - some what if's ? ... Napkin Stats that stand out : ONLY 8 fgs in the paint 16 points ... 25/27 FTs - without the BIG MAN - the Warriors live on attacking the paint - great night at the FT line ...

Pfloyd's Official "un-official" Napkin Stats - Logan ...

Scoring ... Bo Myers 30, Caleb Bell 13, Coby Bell 6, Layton Cassady 3, Wes Brooks 2, Landon Little 2
3 Pointers ... 6/21 ... Caleb Bell 3, Bo Myers 2, Layton Cassady 1
FTs ... 16/24
TOs ... 10
PnP ... 9 fgs/18 points in the paint
PnT ... 1 fg/2 points in transition

... Bo Myers scored 30+ points in his 4th straight game - not a bad week for the 6-5 senior as he totaled 102 pts in 3 games - a great week at the office for the Malone bound senior ... Logan has one more regular season contest left - Monday night at Logan vs Bishop Hartley followed by Saturday's 1st round Central District Sectional play vs Grove City ... Logan finishes off the SEO District play at 7-1 with their only loss on the road at Chillicothe ... beating Elite 8 Sheridan (#5) and #8's Athens and Warren within 5 days ... Logan goes to 16-3 on the season ...

Wow! Does Warren usually shoot foul shots that good ? That's some serious foul shooting. Great stats as usual Pfloyd.
