Upsets?

Post by wobycat »

Who has the biggest chance of heading out early?

New Boston is facing Webster?

Adena is in one heck of a bracket. That’s the toughest IMO

Eastern Brown and Fairland?

Athens and Zane trace?

These brackets are full of upsets in my opinion.I would say several teams are under rated. Strength of schedule will rear its head.

Watch out for Huntington. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them making it to Athens

I don’t see it at all with Adena. Maybe if the Garrison injury would have happened before they could play multiple games without him. Just too talented and well coached to not make it to Athens. After that, I wouldn’t call anything an upset.

I love Huntington’s draw. They are playing pretty well down the stretch. They would be underdogs in all of their games, but they have a couple of horses to get it done.

South Gallia could get to OU from the 7 seed. They have played Trimble tight twice, so the 3rd time could be the charm.

The last Trimble/SG game the Tomcats were up big, Rebs made a late run to make score closer than it was. No way Howie loses a sectional game to a lower seed. Lol

I hope our Warrior team can get it together against Zane Trace so that we head into the tournament on a positive note. But that task without Garrison will be tough to do.

Would it really be an upset if NB lost to Webster? They already lost once.

Shoot I’d say Webster could get put out in the sectionals or the state tournament who knows

If green pressures the ball( which they will). Green beats Whiteoak easily.

I know many will say Athens beating ZT would be an upset, but I disagree. Athens has the easiest road. In fact, they SHOULD win.

I think Gallia Academy has a great shot to be in that game against Sheridan.

Don’t be shocked if it is Waverly instead of Sheridan. Sheridan had nearly 20 turnovers last night against Logan, which means that they haven’t really improved in that aspect.

Of course, Waverly would have to bear McClain first

2 weeks ago i would agree with you.. but last 2 weeks SG has played pretty poorly.. A lot of turnovers and a ton of bad shot taken. In my opinion this team has some of the most talent in their conference but they haven not improved much since the middle of the season. I'm not one to dog a coach, but they have been out coached coming down the stretch.

This team needs to come together as a TEAM, share the BALL, shoot open shots and GOOD things could happen for this team.

I’m not one to dog a coach, although I have done it towards the last school my kids went to, but they have been outcoached coming down the stretch.
