I know that the 2018-19 season is only half over, BUT I would like to get a jump on the 2019-20 Pre-season Elite 8 - I know, I know seems odd BUT here's the logic ... there are so many "young teams" out there this year who's "youngin's" are getting varsity playing time, varsity experience ... just as there are many "senior" laden TEAM ... lots of talk about being "a year away" - Warren for example ... Peebles , Chesapeake, Portsmouth, etc. while others are senior heavy teams - Logan, Washington CH are examples ...

Youngin's :

Chillicothe (Elite 8) - Starters Tre Beard (11), Vincent Roper (11), Chris Postage (12), Brandon Noel (11), Jayvon Maughmer (11) ... Christian Benson (10 or 11)/J'Quan Harris (11?) ...

Senior Laden:

Logan (#1 Elite 8) - Bo Myers (12), Coby Bell (12), Caleb Bell (12), Layton Cassady (12), Wes Brooks (12), Landon Little (12), Tegan Myers (9), Justin Wolfe (11)


... here's the assistance I need from the SEOPs Nation ... I would like for you to post the first 5 players at least with their grade level (6 or 7 would be even better) ... it gives us a great opportunity to do a better job of "forecasting" what we have in the SouthEast District NEXT season ... most teams will have a good mix of upperclassmen and underclassmen ... as we all know - there are some outstanding freshmen making head roads into either JV or seeing minutes at the varsity level as well ...

Somewhat young only three, two juniors and one sophomore had significant varsity last year.
Coach Davis has rotated these guys all year.

... I've told you before that Coach Hoops & Co. are doing it right - the U started the year with literally no varsity experience in the starters or the bench ... Coach Hoops is playing a lot of people who he is allowing to find their roles for the TEAM ... does nothing but make NEXT years Shermans an improvement over this year's edition ... good stuff - thanks daniC ...

Peebles: Mills Sophmore,White Sophmore,Burba Sophmore,Whiloughby Sophmore,Johnson Sophmore,Shelaw Junior,Camp junior,Lightner junior,Crothers junior,Browning Junior,McCoy freshman,Myers Sophmore and Wesley Sophmore.7 sophmores,5 juniors, one freshman. Only one player had prior varsity experience before this year. That was Browning.Josh has played all during the course of this year in an effort to get experience for all kids.
Browning,Shewlaw,Lightner,Camp,Burba ,Wesley and Mills have seen the most playing time.All have been starters. youngsters for sure.

Peebles has total of 15 freshmen and sophmores in their system. No Seniors. That class never did play basketball.

Zane Trace has all juniors that play except for Ison who is a senior.
