Adrian Hayes has passed away

I married his great niece.

Stretch is what people called him.

Connor Scott — coaching now at Washington Court House would be his great great nephew. Stretch was an Uncle to Connors grandfather Larry Cayton but only a few years older and the two played together at Oak Hill.

I knew that Adrian was an uncle to Larry Cayton. Larry Cayton from what I was told, was also a very good ballplayer. I think that Larry had an older brother, Paul. I know that Larry had a son, Scott Cayton who at one time was the head boys basketball coach at Oak Hill, as well as being the head girls coach at a different time. I know that because my brothers son played for Scott.

Yes. Scott coached both the boys and girls at Oak Hill

Scott of course is Connor’s Uncle.

If I'm not mistaken, Conner was a very good ballplayer for South Webster a few years ago.

He played point guard for The Jeeps.

Luckily he played with 2 other 1000 point scorers.

Wes and Austin Loop.

Crazy that Lafe Stidham isn’t on this list .. I’ve herd he was at 998 .. Unbelievable player .. I’d say Kimbler and Carver will finish 3rd and 4th on this list

I don't think so on Borden. Last year I know Landon Carroll, I also think Michell Hale.
Hard to believe....as a soph I thought Borden was 18 ppg at Jackson. Adding in 2 more years and all those tournament games I would’ve thought he would’ve made it
Here is the list of Oak Hill players that was given to me:
Adrian Hayes
Doug Hale
Jim Slone
Michael Hale
Johnny Harrison
Dan Brisker
Dusty Boggess
Josh Davis
Kyle Ondera
J.D. Hale
Landon Carroll
Michell Hale
Mason Darby

Someone posted earlier that John Williams also scored over 1000 pts, he may have but I wasn't given that name. It was also mentioned that Ryan Borden may have scored over 1000 pts. I was told that he was just a little short.
What about Jon's twin brother Tim Williams? Graduated with them...always thought one of them hit the 1,000 plateau with the other just short.

I did go to the Oak Hill-Minford game tonight, mainly because I wanted to read the banner, and write the names down myself. It doesn't give the point total, but it did have 13 players listed. The players listed above are the same names that were on the banner now. I guess there could be a mistake on the names listed, but that's what the banner says.

I know his sister's name was on the girls banner. I never saw him play, but have heard he was a very good player. I know the other names that have been posted earlier, Borden, Lewis, Williams, and Simpson. I suppose there is always the chance that a mistake has been made, but I tried to be careful and write all the names down that were listed.

Provably have to sit down and talk to. Harold "Buzz" Fisher...he might be able to get some stats for you.
