POY wide open!

Big game at the Alley looming.

If Alex wins - and wins the league outright - J.K. could be the odds on favorite.

Arbaugh ended up with 20. held to just 2 points in the 2nd half. Still a great game though, good player.

Arbaugh front runner. Scored 21 against Alex the other night. Had 18 at half against Athens tonight not sure what he finished with. Impressive player. Hynes for Athens been real strong last couple of games!

As far as Athens goes, Hynes is steadily going to top of my list with his play of late. His energy and consistency in last few weeks is impressive, injury early in season may have slowed him down. The junior Isiah Butcher had a huge night against Marietta and also getting in a groove lately.

Baer is the POY. Shouldn't even be a debate.

How did Baer do against VC last night? How did Arbaugh look? Those 2 were tied on my list for 1st going into last night.

Baer has to do it vs Alex and Athens to be the no doubt choice....he can be the favorite but to say it’s not close is hard to completely agree with

Maxfield still number 1 by a lot. This is a pretty easy one to pick POTY

I read a story about VC and Meigs game after I posted this. Had Baer with 11 And Arbaugh with 10 in last nights game?

I also am leaning toward Hynes now as my player from Athens. Chubb and Maxfield have fallen off and Hynes has taken over IMO. Not to say Chubb and Maxfield aren’t integral and doing great things on Defense-but the numbers just haven’t been there as far as scoring in the last few weeks.

Athens @ Alex May be the best barometer yet. Next Friday at the Alley. Who steps it up?

As far as Alex goes, I have to take Mecum over Kearns because of his consistency, hustle and defense. Just an all around solid player!!

J.K. Kearns had 24 for Alexander vs Athens
Weston Baer had 13 for Meigs vs Athens

Both teams play Athens again.

Maxfield led Athens vs Alex with 11
Maxfield led Athens vs Meigs with 21
