Has FF already played Caldwell this year, or do they only play 1 time ?

They play twice a year, this is the first this year. A lot of good young players on both sides. Both teams have challenged themselves in the non-conference with Fort taking on Warren, Meadowbrook and JM. Caldwell played a competitive game with state ranked Rosecrans, blew a huge lead at Waterford early in the year and was short handed in being blown out by IVC power Malvern.

I made it over to watch them play a poor Beallsville team (comparable to Frontier, believe they lost to them by two) they seem to have moved more of the young ones into the lineup and shifted a few older ones into reduced roles. It seemed to work, they were up 35 at half.

I expect it will be a really competitive game, Caldwell has managed to beat fort a few times in the past three years. These two will have some dandy battles in the next four years with the young talent they both have coming.

Fort Frye Starts

SO G- Nic Hart - Long Lanky PG who is not afraid to take a big shot.

SO G- Kelton Fogle - Great shooter in a bit of slump but the kid has all the potential in the world

Jr G- Zane Greenleaf - He’s one of the Cadets playing the best. he’s quick very good on defense.

JR F- Brady Schilling - Might be the teams most important player great inside and on the boards. Needs to stay out of foul trouble.

JR F - Caden Fryman - Does the dirty work. Runs floor well can finish around the rim

Bench

SR G Luke Nelson - Has started more games then any other. A coaches son. One of the better shooters

SR G Devin Layton- Zone killing 3 point shooter is nice to have off the bench.

SR F Dre Turner - Banger plays physical underneath. Good free throw shooter.

JR F/G Ethan Brooker - Has nice touch from outside.

SO Dylan Hart - A true football player brings another guy that will work for boards.

Caldwell probably shot 60 to70% in the first half with Logan Heller leading the way with several threes.
Caldwell came out cold in the second half and Fort Frye cut the lead to two points heading to the final quarter.
Good defense and foul shooting by Brady and company sealed the win for the Cadets.

Congrats Fort Frye! Sounds as if you must have also played some pretty good defense in the 3rd.Qtr.
