They never rescheduled it. Even though PC barely has any students, they look pretty decent
PC has more students than Wood County Christian!! What’s your point???

So, Athens will in fact be the only LEAGUE CHAMPION in the entire sectional? The only team to have already cut nets down?

1. Athens
2. Sheridan
3. Warren
4. Fairfield Union

You could be a coach and vote that way and actually justify it. That's 10pts on one card. Just throwing that out there. lol

Warren isn’t in a league, but would’ve won the TVC this year. I think we can all agree that the MVL and MSL are much better, this season, than the TVC.

Game was at Warren ...

Who is to say Warren wins at Athens in the rematch? Play twice in league play ...

Who is to say Warren doesn't lose at The Alley in Albany?

Who is to say Warren doesn't get tripped up in McArthur?

They may have finished 2nd or even 3rd in the Ohio. haha

Just think, Athens is one bad call 90 feet from the basket from being the #1 seed

How do you figure?
The loss to VC didn't hurt Athens really, unless it drops them to the 4.
The loss at Warren cost Athens the 1. Nobody is/was putting Athens over Warren, Raider.

Warren is the 4 seed. They aren’t with #2 Athens. Athens is closer to Sheridan. H2H doesnt work if a team is 3 games back. If that was the case Marietta would be above Warren.

If Warren played Athens schedule there is a good chance they'd be 19-0 right now. Seriously.
They wouldn't have lost to themselves.
They wouldn't have lost to VC
They probably would not have lost to Waverly.
Maybe the Gallia game with Loveday is a toss up.
At worst 18-1.

The coaches in the Logan sectional are not idiots. Maddox, Stiverson, Combs, etc ... They are all thinking the same way, I guarantee it.

(4) Athens vs (5) Logan Elm

Guess they didn't think much of our schedule, Raider.

Oh well, been a lot of great games between the 2 teams. Should be a lot of fun.

Go Dogs

Always enjoy watching the Braves and Bulldogs tangle, with both schools still owning the state record for most scoring in a football playoff game (Athens 74, LE 55). I don't think we'll see that on the hardwood.

The loss to Warren hurt, plus the TVC being down from what it has been. If Vinton was typical Vinton, Athens would have had a stronger hand to play. Also, I'd get Wood County Christian and New Lex off the schedule, but that's just me. Athens can do whatever it likes.

I agree with Wood County
But not New Lex.
Playing teams in your sectional, no matter how good or bad, can be a positive.

I think the coaches got it right. Sheridan has the best record and played a tough schedule.

FFu beat Sheridan but has a few more losses.

Warren was upset by Marietta, who is in the bottom half.

Athens was upset by VC, who is in the bottom half.

The rest pretty much goes by records.

Should be a fun sectional at Logan as it seems like everyone has beaten everyone this year.

Agree, there are some good matchups here if the lower teams play at the top end of their games. Should be a fun sectional.
