I guess it’s time to find out who your friends are. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen one like this.
Wonder who McClain would rather play? WCH or Waverly?

Waverly beat Jackson
WCH beat Unioto
Gallipolis lost Fairland
Greenfield beat PV

1. Zane Trace
2. Jackson/WCH
3. Jackson/WCH
4. Waverly
5. Greenfield
6. Gallipolis
7. Unioto
8. Hillsboro
9. Miami Trace
10. River Valley

One could argue Waverly seeded over Jackson with the head to head win but then what do you do about Jackson beating WCH twice?

What is the Friday schedule???

And WCH is clean vs Waverly and Greenfield
2-0. And has a win vs Chillicothe.

Jackson, WCH and Greenfield don’t play til Saturday.

2-4 Waverly/Jackson/WCH (toss up)

Just my opinion. I’m not so sure Jackson is automatically the number 2 seed. They might fall to a 3???

I can’t see Waverly as the 2. They beat Jackson tonight and a have a win over Athens. Next best win Oak Hill.

Not much else other than those 3.

Unioto going to be the 7.....they want to play Jackson or WCH?

ZT should get all 1’s
Jackson will get some 2-4’s
Wash will get some 2-4’s
Waverly I bet gets 2-4’s
McClain mostly 5’s maybe a 6 or 2
Gallia mostly 6’s maybe a 5 or 2
Unioto should be all 7’s
Hillsboro should be all 8’s
RV will get some 9’s and 10’s
MT might get a 9 or two but mostly 10’s

I agree, Waverly will probably get the 4. Had they beat WCH it would be a no brainer but they didn't.
I think the question is, does WCH now get the 2 over Jackson?

Unioto will definitely want to play Washington.

We both know the answer to that. And after that slugfest tonight I’m not so sure who Washington would want to play Unioto or Gallipolis. Both could beat us

I can see Washington and Jackson voting how I listed them. But I can see Waverly and Unioto voting differently. No clue what Greenfield will do.

Yep, so I'd say it's set. Any of them can beat each other on any given night.

That’s 11/18. Listed as home is our game with Lancaster at Zane Trace.

But hey I get your point. We are 9-2 at home. 0-1 neutral and 3-3 on road. Had 2 good road wins in a row and finish with 4 more roadies. I would think that’s smart scheduling. :-)

This is going to come down to coaches match ups plain and simple.

Jackson beats WCH 2x
WCH beats Waverly
Waverly beats Jackson

You could legitimately argue for each of those 3 teams to be the 2 seed

These 3 teams against each other:
Jackson 2-1
Waverly 1-1
WCH 1-2

But then again Waverly fans would say their better than Jackson. Then WCH fans would say they’re better than Waverly

Isn’t WCH like 4-3 since losing Steward?
Maybe that makes a difference now..

Keep in mind that when coaches turn in their own info that they list
Overall Record
D1 Record
D2 Record
D3 Record
D4 Record.

Then they write a little about their season.

WCH is 5-3 since that dismissal and played Waverly as part of the 5-3.

A couple of points I would think everyone would agree on.

1. When evaluating a team their entire resume is relevant. All losses are NOT equal. Just as beating a really good team is a huge plus; losing to a relatively weak or mediocre team should be factored in also.

2. The quality of the team you play is what should count. The "Division" in which they reside should not be taken into consideration. There are strong D3 and D4 teams; there are weak or average D2 teams.
