... as always "put the children to bed & let the beatings begin !" ... if there are records that need corrected please post those - been looking at lots of numbers , comparing opponents etc. all afternoon - things get a little blurry for these old man eyes ... after the first 2 weeks of play - some of the opening game losses were debunked (ie. Adena losing to Valley then reeling off 5 wins in a row) teams are closer to where they should be based on opponents played etc. ... this year is probably the most difficult season to rank yet - with so many teams capable of beating other teams within each league - the home court advantage gets to be a big stat ... injuries to key players makes it hard to drop teams because you KNOW what they will be like at full strength ... as always the cream rises to the top as we move forward ... the good thing is many of the top teams play each other ! - some crossing league lines to do it - ie.Gallia vs Logan etc. ... it will be fun to watch ...

... also IF any teams have been "omitted" from the list ? (it's happened before) - I'm sure SOMEONE will be screaming in the general direction of the Hocking Hills ... just post it - they were more than likely left off due to my bad eyes, and 3 finger typing ... don't panic all things will get corrected if need be ...

Pretty solid. I think I’d have McClain higher.

... the committee is giving them another week - McClain travels to Washington CH on Tuesday - nice matchup to "force" their way UP the rankings if the Tigers of Coach Stewart can pick up the "W" ...

Sheridan
Warren
Fairfield Union
Athens

Is there an importance to stay away from the 4 seed at Logan? Is VC and or Marietta a serious threat/challenge? Doesn't seem to be a lot of intrigue in the sectional as of right now, but it is early. I'm sure Athens doesn't want to play VC a 6th time in 2 years - but other than that - I don't know.

Nice job as always.

I’m not sure about your two teams tied for 8th. But, I guess we shall see.

Last full week before Christmas !

I can’t help but notice that 5 of the top 9 are old SEOAL teams. What a league that would be this year along with Marietta. If those teams all played the old home and away schedule it would be a battle every night in every city. Chosing the all league team at the coaches meeting like we used to do would be a tremendous challenge.

Ah......those days are long gone......but it is fun for us old timers to think about.

There is a thread toward the top of the page that lists every team’s schedule and scores to date.

Check it out. Mattash has (along with others) put a great deal of work into it and all users should be aware of it.

It’s third from the top. Scores, standings, etc.

I wasn’t questioning the tie (although it seems strange since these 2 teams have played).

I was questioning the ranking of these 2 teams!! But, as I said — time will tell.

Whiteoak is off to a hot start. Two impressive wins this week. Beating Fairfield and @ New Boston. They shut down Sexton and Caldwell. Rand and Cumberland and beasts down low.
