Oak Hill at Minford 12/14

Post by SOC94 »

Thoughts?

Not sure what all Minford has?

Hoping Oak Hill will bounce back with a win but Minford always a tough place to play. Hammond and Darby I’m sure will both end up with 20+. Oaks need the Hanning boy to step up and give them around 10 a game. Hopefully our guards pick it up on the defensive side. I’ll take the oaks by 10

Oak Hill by 10+

Seens like minford has some issues.

Darby will be too much.

Kind of surprised Minford is looking this shaky with Dalton and Kelly back. Is Vogelsong-Lewis back from injury yet? If so, they should be a little better than what they've shown.

Oak Hill too disciplined and coming off a tough/physical loss.

Oak Hill 59
Minford 42

Hammond is a nightmare for any team in the Soc AND teams have to worry about Darby too. Taking the Oaks by 15+.

Hammond is good but Darby can shoot behind the arc. Makes him more dangerous. Norm uses both correctly. Oak Hill will be a nightmare matchup for most teams, but guard production must get better.

You guys were just flat out the better team and didn’t have to press us and our guards still struggled... that Waverly press has me worried. Guards have to be better to beat the top teams on this area.

With teams worried about Darby Driving and shooting it’s opening Hammonds up under the basket,Oaks still needs a 3rd and 4th option to step up.Still kinda early in season but if that happens Oaks will be Dangerous come tournament time. Jmo

Shoemaker has had Norm’s # in the past, but I’ll take OH by 12.

We haven’t been in foul trouble yet. Hammond and Darby have avoided that so far this year but Minford is always a tough place to play for us.

Curious, been rumor the the Hall of Fame Coach has tried to pick fights with Eastern and Wheelersburg coaches, will there be a 3rd contest on the card this evening at Minford. I know he knows basketball, but didn't know he was a pugilist as well.

Norm is nuts over basketball, too nuts if you ask me, but he's good at coaching.

Having played for him I’ve witnessed it all first hand. Some of the stuff you can do without I won’t disagree with you there.
