Tegan has 27 so far this season. Tegan has a lot of potential, but he shouldn’t be burdened with the expectations to live up to Bo.

Heck, I’m pretty sure he’s already ahead of his dad at this point in their careers and Keith is still one of the all-time greats!
Was Logan during Bo’s freshman year comparably as good to what they are now?
No. Not even close. They had some athletes but this team would smoke that team. If memory serves me correct they were well under .500 that season.

This current team is the best Logan team I’ve ever seen. A complete solid team with good roleplayers and a star to get you points when you need them most. If they are ever going to make noise in D1 central, this is the time.

When the senior's were freshman (2015-16), the team went 12-11 and finished for a tie in the SEOAL.

The team that year had 4 senior starters: Lane Little, Isaiah Smith, Cole Baron and Sam Evans.

Until the ohsaa adds another division. The Logan s Chilly Dover Tri valley...... have little chance in D-1 tournament.

I only saw the Chieftains play 2 games in person this year, yet I thought they were probably the best all around team that I was able to see. I didn't see them get beat by GC, yet I was very surprised as were a lot of other people. Some nights it seems as if it's just not in the "Cards" for better teams to be able to find a way to win. It's not the first time, and it most certainly will not be the last.

Everyone is surprised. I thought Logan would win until they played a team with good big guys.

GC is about the size of Lancaster. And regardless we were still better. Just wasn’t our night.

Still sounds like they need to find a league or has one been found yet? Just shows D1 is a whole different ball game than 2 or 3. Need to find a way to get to be a lower division --I still think being a div 1 is why most SE Ohio leagues won't touch them.

That I would agree with 100%.

Hell, I couldn't bring myself to go to the Convo to watch games. I've barely watch any college ball. Makes me ill to think about it.

In the post season, you have play your "A" game vs every opponent ... that game vs Grove City? Logan wasn't as focused - whether that was on the Logan side of due to the intensity that GC brought from the opening tip throughout the game ... it's called the "one and done" season for a reason ... I watched 30 games in the 3 Weeks of the Convo ... would I have liked to be watching the Purple survive and advance - you bet - but there was/is good basketball at ALL 4 division levels ... for Logan losing the opening game of the post season/at home - hurt big because of the talented group of seniors who would not wear the Purple/White on the hardwood for as Chieftains anymore ... now? time to move on to the NEXT group of talented Chieftains ! - a group who will be seniors who have played behind the talented group in front of them for their entire careers as Chieftains ... it will be interesting to see how they look at THEIR 1 year varsity careers 2019-20 ... the learning curve will NEED to be a short one ! they will have to find their roles quickly, get used to the speed of the game (ie the lazy passes that made it to a teammate in JV "ain't" going anywhere but the " other way" in the varsity game) & the strength of the players (which by being mostly seniors THAT factor is negated somewhat) ... is there a 2019-20 schedule out there ? I'm curious to see who the Purple "keep" on the schedule ... who isn't kept on the schedule ... how much of a adjustment in the schedule is made due to the "2019-20 team" vs the "2018-19 team" ... the individual drill/teaching seasons are BIG this off season ! - I've seen many of the youngsters - this years freshmen - in the gym doing individual drills ... many of these kids are playing AAU/OYB ball right now ... I'm looking forward to seeing WHO steps into WHAT roles ... the June season will be important as there are basically the "first 7-8" spots on the varsity OPEN ! all of spots are UP for the taking this off season !!! ... to paraphrase from the Wizard of Oz ..." we aren't on (JV) anymore Toto" ...

Bo signed the dotted line to head to Malone several months ago, but made it official with his "signing picture" this week. Nice write-up about Malone and Bo's career from Craig Dunn.

... Congratulations to Bo Myers on finalizing his path to the next level - Malone University ... he'll have a great career with Malone U ! sounds like he will be able to step in a fill a scoring void that Malone has with the departure of some of the seniors ... will be fun to follow Bo's career the next 4 years at the next level ... pfloyd wishes him nothing but the best as he "plays on" ! ...
