Re: Tuesday 12/01 scores
He should, he had 40 points and never looked tired. Athens needs to play better defense. Granted #11 couldn't missdanicalifornia wrote:I bet Lutz ends up averaging north of 35 a game this year.
Chillicothe leads Hillsboro by 10 at the half.
Wilmington up 45-40 on WCH after 3.

Valley 60
Manchester 44
Rolfe with 16 pts-7ast-6 Rebs-5 steals
Howard 11 pts and Wolford 9.
Indians lead by 26 early in 4th. 11 kids played and 10 scored. The team is still shaking off football rust as they had 21 turnovers and were a smooth 10-20 from the stripe. Add in no Romanello and this was a solid win.

Re: Tuesday 12/01 scores
Portsmouth 68, South Webster 61.......the Trojans were up 30-22 at the half, but the Jeeps tied it at 45 after 3 quarters. PHS outscored the visitors 23-16 in the final frame. It was a turnover fest by both teams, 25 by SW and 18 by the Trojans.
Coach Eugene Collins played as many as 5 sophomores for the Trojans, including starters DJ Eley and Cole Lowery. Coming off the bench were sophs Reese Johnson, Jordan Lucas, and Daniel Jordan. Jordan, in particular, gave Portsmouth a lot of energy on the boards with a few buckets in the paint.
Both teams lack size, but anybody who plays South Webster better by wary of their 3 point capability. That helped get them back to within 1 point at 62-61 after the Trojans took a 62-52 lead. The Jeeps will be very competitive in a lot of games with the effort they showed last night.

Your Trojans played hard and pulled through at the end. #3 and #24 were impressive players! Hit some of the deepest 3's I've ever seen!trojandave wrote:Portsmouth 68, South Webster 61.......the Trojans were up 30-22 at the half, but the Jeeps tied it at 45 after 3 quarters. Thanks for the kind words on the Jeeps. We have a good young coaching staff that's brought our program back from the trenches. The next few years should be really exciting in Jeep land!
