12/1 Gallia Acadamy @ Coal Grove

Post by CGHornet55 »

Both teams start a new chapter in their program:
The Blue Devils join the Ohio Valley Conference, and Kevin Vanderhoof makes his coaching debut for the Hornets. Thoughts for this contest?

Gallia is big and Coal Grove is scrappy and young. Coal Grove will have to shoot the ball very well, as I see Gallia dominating the boards.

If Gallia doesn't turn over the ball, then they will be difficult for the young Hornets to handle. If however, Coal Grove is able to pressure Gallia into turning the ball over, then the Hornets could win this game.

Halftime 34-25 Gallia. Coal Grove needs to limit turnovers and more help D on the inside.

51-47 CG leads. CG press in the second half has been the difference here. Kept the ball from getting to Jarrell
