They are talking down about Athens going to the TVC and being the big fish (I think)
Thats what if figured.

What Logan ought to try to do until it finds a home league is to contact some schools to create 1-2 smaller secondary leagues of 4 teams that could help fill out some non-conference scheduling for the other teams and keep travel decent. The other teams primary conference affiliation would also not be affected (in the event of makeup games, primary conference games hold higher priority) as the other teams play 10-14 conference games and a secondary league would only be 6 league games. Here is what I'm thinking they could be (not naming the leagues):

League A:
Canal Winchester (OCC-Capital)
Chillicothe (FAC)
Logan (Independent)
Teams Valley (MSL-Buckeye)

All travel under an hour. All schools D1 in other sports and D2 in football. All between 415-500 in enrollment size in basketball.

League B:
Athens (TVC-Ohio)
Jackson (FAC)
Logan (Independent)
Warren (OVAC-Independent)

Traditional Rivals from the SEOAL who can continue playing each other twice a year while not affecting primary conference affiliation. Can be done in all sports as well. D1-D2 in other sports and D2-D3 in football.

And just for fun, Warren could also look to start an additional secondary league as well that'd go like this:
League C:
Marietta (ECOL-Scarlet)
Parkersburg WV (MSAC)
Parkersburg South WV (OVAC-TRAC)
Warren (OVAC-Independent)

All within 20 minutes of each other providing 6 games with high gates. Could be done in all sports. D1-D2 in other sports and D1-D3 in football.

Chiefs played three games at the Denison Shootout, going 2-1. Defeating Olentangy Liberty and Newark, can't remember the team they lost to. Will play three more games tomorrow to close out their June schedule.

Chiefs won 2 out of 3 today, defeating Cincinnati Anderson and Dayton CJ, and losing to Farimont by just 3.

And I think all the players have been showing up pfloyd, the core of players are also playing AAU which is great! Bo is having a great spring/summer with his team, one of the top couple teams in Ohio. Should be a great upcoming season for our Chieftains!

Not bad at all . I think Anderson is a larger D1 , CJ is a large D2 out of the Dayton area and Kettering Fairmont is a large ( 900 plus ) D1. Sounds like some heavy hitters participated . Anyone else from SEO or South Central there. The shootouts and team camps I have watched ( Limited amount of teams I have watched ) there is a lot of talent . High School Sports especially in Ohio is the BEST!

I'll give you a league....... The Central Catholic.

Logan
DeSales
Watterson
St. Charles
Hartley
Ready

Half the team is usually Catholic, no one wants to play parochials, so Logan fills a lot of slots and you use the first games to schedule public teams who normally play Logan. Last half of schedule is easily filled. lol

The Worthington Scrimmage last year featured several teams . Was a tough but good one . Not sure about this year.
