Oak Hill having trouble stretching out or keeping leads these past couple games. The Persin effect is huge but I'll keep riding the Cinderella and go with SE.

This game should go down to the wire. Of the 4 teams left Fairland is by far the best. Oak Hill is by far the most overrated, Southeastern the most underrated, and South Point the 2nd best team behind the Dragons.....
The Donald predicts Fairland and Oak Hill to most likely advance..... The luck of the draw will most likely send the Pointers home 1 game short of regionals... Whatever Happens the OVC has flexed their muscles in this Tournament

From what I saw last night Oak Hill should win this by 10+.. Southeastern tends to make some crucial mistakes, Minford just didn't make them pay for it. Oak Hill will.

I don't like this kind of stuff, but Oak Hill dominated Alexander and Alexander dominated Southeastern. So, I think it is obvious, that means this will be a very close game.

I know one thing about the Oak Hill Oaks after watching them vs. Paint Valley......they play as good a man to man defense as anybody in the SE district. The Oaks are not overloaded with offensive talent, which proves that if you really get after it on the defensive end, you can still have a very good team. Coach Persin has gotten these kids to go all out on the stop end of the court. OH hasn't lost just 1 game being an offensive juggernaut. Their effort is fun to watch.

They're winning when it matters. Norm will tell you an undefeated Oak Hill team went in #1 in the Jackson sectional several years ago and got upset by #8 Wheelersburg. Nobody cares what you did or didn't do in the regular season if you exceed expectations come tourney time.

I didn't think that was much of an upset though. Barrick is as good as anyone and Burg didn't have their star for first half of season making their record deceiving.

Agree but a .500 record #8 seed beating an undefeated reigning D4 state champ looks real bad on paper even tho people know what Barrick and any Burg team was capable of.

I get you and it was an upset....but OH had graduated most starters except for Ondera

You're correct they lost a lot of the glue that made the previous years team an all time great in SE Ohio

Could be a tough one for the Oaks, they've been a little sluggish here as of late. Squeaked by their first 2 tournament games and southeastern is finding ways to stay alive. I look for this one to be a good one!

Everyone says that the Oaks find a way to win.....That's a false statement.....At least in the last 2 games I witnessed....It should read like this...River Valley and Paint Valley found a way to lose, because Oak Hill did nothing but throw up 3's and had no answer other than River and Paint gift wrapping them their win to district finals....
