Minford dug down deep with a great 4th quarter. Gullett, Shepherd, and Thoroughman all in double figures. They have become a great free throw shooting team too. Outscoring Ironton 27-7 in the 4th quarter is digging down deep.

Yep, probably why I didn't put huge upset. I've seen both play and thought Ironton held the advantage in quickness at the guard position plus inside they are bigger. This was no an upset ,not even a small one.
I've seen both teams more then once and,I predicted a 10 point win by minford on this thread.
Minford easily has mote talent ,other then one kid for ironton they had no basketball talent at all on the floor last night. They are a football school and it showed last night

The seeding says different. Minford was down by 9 starting the fourth, so the talent descrepency is not as big as you think. I will say 1 thru 5 Minford has better overall basketball talent, but Ironton has a couple of kids that I thought were better and would be the difference maker. Coach Shoe must have made the right adjustment in that fourth Qtr. 18 point swing, impressive.
