Not very many new school are going to be built in the state of Ohio.

The new thing being in the works is closing schools and over crowding others.

I'm almost sure I heard on 610am the other day that the state was going to start forcing rural districts with multiple high schools to start consolidating to save money.

Didn't our governor talk about this when running for his first term?

Hocking County should have looked at a 2 school system many years ago . Tax base now would be a disaster for both . That's why the future could change other school district in other counties. Is that good ? That's not for me to decide . Is that fair ? That's for the Law Makers to decide . Will all like and accept that ? Not likely !

Athens county high schools could be in a world of hurt. IMO Trimble and Fed Hock would be the 1st two to go.

... Chieftain Fan - I DO have some "thoughts" on the Tuesday night game with Hilliard Bradley ... it was a later than normal game Tuesday night , I had to get up early Wednesday so I didn't post anything on the game Tuesday night ... Craig Dunn summed the game up well in Wednesday paper so I didn't post anything ...

... as a "tease" for later after the Warren game tonight (which I WILL do a game rundown for) ... I thought having one of the better teams from SouthEastern Ohio - Logan- literally playing side by side with one of the better teams in the Central District - Hilliard Bradley - there were stark differences in "GOOD" vs "good" which leads to "program" differences and what Logan HAS TO DO to compete down the road vs Central District teams (since THAT IS OUR post season party invite AND our mindset when it comes to scheduling from now on so it appears) ... more later !!! after THE game from Jim's Gym ...
