This one will be a tight ball game IMO. I think Chilli ultimately comes out out on top(shocker). Let's hear it! Who wins!?

... I had this on my radar to go see tomorrow night BUT I was told the U is opening their doors at 3pm ... that it would probably be sold out & SRO by game time ... I couldn't get there early enough to get a good seat ... I had to go to Plan B - heading on down the road to Miami Trace to take in MT entertaining the Vinton County Vikings ... I had completely blocked out the fact that this IS a major rivalry between the city school Chillicothe and the Ross county big boys in Unioto ... wish everyone a great game !!! 2 great hoops schools and TEAMS !!!

I was thinking last years regular season win gave them 7. Hard to remember all of them!

You're right, I forgot about our first year in D2.

Be nice to see this game moved the OUC Shoemaker Center in the future. Shoemaker Center would make this a neutral site with a seating for about 2200.

VALENTINE'S DAY MASSACRE! The Cavaliers invade frenchtown for a 74-48 win!
So happy for my Cavaliers. They played a very very very good game and shot lights out, over 60%. Brandon Maughmer could NOT be contained tonight and he had his way all night, 25+ points.

Cavs move to 8-2 in the series since 2002.


on a side note... MOVE THIS GAME TO OU-C!!!!! I got there at 4:15 to wait in line. The freshmen game was louder than just about any Varsity game i have been to this year. MOVE THE GAME TO OU-CCCCCCC!!!!!

Last nights game was the perfect storm. Chillicothe came out blazing hot and Unioto struggled from the perimeter. When Unioto did score it was in the post and they did control the paint in the first half especially in the second quarter where the lead went from 31-15 to 35-28 at half. The start of the 3rd quarter was the dagger. Chillicothe came out strong and put it away.

I think last night showed the SCOL top half are very talented and Chillicothe benefits from that competition week in and week out. I don't think the SVC always hurts Unioto but this year it has. When Valley beat Adena by 24 last weekend and you see they are 12-9 you get an insight about the SVC this year. It is cyclical and will get better.

I think the 3 seed and 2 seed both have tough routes to a district championship so that is irrelevant.

Good luck to both teams in the tournament.

I know it was very jam packed last night but I think it added to the contest. I would take St Johns Arens over the Schott Any day of the week.
