Logan girls might get a home game if New Albany beats Hilliard Darby. HD already beat them. Why wouldn't they just play New Lexington vs Marietta at another gym?

It seems to me, that Marietta made the mistake of scheduling a Saturday game before the week of the tournament. Why? Everyone knows when the tournament is going to start and that there is a chance that you could draw that 8 - 9 game and play on Monday or Tuesday.

The game was originally scheduled for earlier in the season but Marietta got a last minute opportunity to play in Cleveland at the "Q" so it was rescheduled for Feb 11th. Then moved again to Feb 18th so Athens could make up a league game against Meigs.

Don't know anything about Marietta. Haven't seen them play this season. How do we match up with them?? Our guards are top tier and we have two over 6-3 that rotate in the middle.

Marietta went 13-9, and 8-5 in a tough ECOL, this season. Trent Dawson is their leading scorer, but Danford, Moore, Hill and Deskins can lead them on any given night -- pretty balanced.

Moore is their biggest kid at 6-3, and Marietta has struggled with teams that have good size. Defensively, they press most of the game which often leads to foul trouble.

Common opponents are Logan, Athens and Alexander. VC was 5-1 against those teams while Marietta was 3-1.

Marietta is a scrappy team, physical-have a couple of players you need to watch close,
pretty much a 5 guard rotation. Don't recall them pressing Athens when they played. Athens was up by 7 at one point in early 3rd quarter. Marietta made some adjustments on Defense. Won by 10. Good luck to the TVC and Vikings.

Its crazy that a 1 seed is playing a team with this type of record. This sectional is stacked.
