There have recently been two (UPDATE: three) incidents of locker room thefts occurring while varsity basketball games have been in progress. Evidence gathered from the two incidents support the belief that the suspect in the first incident may also be the suspect in the second incident.
On Friday, January 20th, during the Huntington/Zane Trace boys varsity game, at Zane Trace, a thief stole $703 out of backpacks in the locker rooms for basketball players and cheerleaders.
On Friday, February 3rd, during the Delaware Christian/Fisher Catholic boys varsity game, at FC, players were robbed of $190 and a pair of basketball shoes.
(EDIT: Apparently Athens was hit on Thursday January 26th. See third post of thread.)
Surveillance photos from Zane Trace (which are posted below) indicate the suspect is a white male that appears to be heavy set. The suspect in the surveillance photos is wearing a black Adidas hat and a black North Face jacket. The suspect in the thefts at Fisher also was wearing a black Adidas hat and a black North Face jacket. Surveillance will be reviewed tomorrow, but players from Delaware Christian, when shown the surveillance photos from the Zane Trace incident, indicated seeing this individual at the game. The Lancaster Police Department and Ross County Sheriff's Office have not confirmed whether or not the suspect in the ZT incident is linked to the theft at FC; however, the description of the suspect (a white male in the 30's, possibly overweight, about six foot tall with a light, scraggly beard) and of the same person wearing a black Adidas hat and black North Face jacket at the FC incident corroborate the idea that there may be a serial locker room thief in south central Ohio.

They all said it was the same man, Jasinki said.
This is the suspect.
