Wow

Meigs played with Vinton, close game till the very end. New Lex beats Athens and loses to Sheridan in overtime. Marietta had what, a 20+ point lead on Warren before losing? Logan Elm played FU pretty tight, beat MT by 20 ... Those are your projected 6, 7, 8, 9 possibly.

The depth of this sectional is astonishing.

This is the strongest I have ever seen this sectional be. I wouldn't be surprised if the 7-9 seed would make it to the convo if playing in the Southeastern sectional.

Right now the Bulldogs are in big, big trouble. They have a game Tuesday at Meigs - and if they don't win - they are probably looking at an 8/9 seed and will have to play Vinton again in the sectional tournament. Ugh

Never would've guessed that to start the season.

I do not believe that Meigs can control Lutz, that will be the game. Meigs playing good basketball, but can they contain Griffin? That will be the key.

1. Vinton County
2. Fairfield Union
3. Warren
4. Sheridan

5, 6, 7, 8, 9 ... They've decided to draw out of a hat.

I think Sheridan is 12-3 (definitely could be wrong)
Logan Elm is 10-7

I'd say 1-4 are pretty easy
1. Vinton
2. Fairfield Union
3. Warren
4. Sheridan
5-9 will have to settle it the next couple weeks.

I dont know if matters much, but warren could stake claim to the no. 2.

Honestly, if chillicothe is the 4 on the other side, the top seed may not be the best place to be in.

Chillicothe won't be the 4. The 3 is the lowest they'll be and most of that depends on Friday's game with Miami Trace. They win that and they could be as high as the 1.

I'd stay with Athens, LE, Meigs, Marietta and NL in 5-9 order, but anymore losses by Athens or LE and I'd drop them below Meigs this week if Meigs continues winning.

Fairfield Union has a big game on Tuesday, hosting D1 two-loss St. Charles. Could be a resume builder for the Falcons to vault VC if VC loses again.

FU will always be at the disadvantage of the other teams never play them. They petition to be in the SE because it's an easier path, yet they do not play any of them.

Athens vs Meigs Tuesday will be big. I expect if Meigs wins, they could jump to the 5 seed

It looks like Fairfield Union has played Unioto, Logan, Sheridan, Logan Elm 2x, Circleville and New Lexington from the southeast. That is half of there schedule.
