I doubt it.. the blue Devils played fairland last night.. point pleasant scheduled today, coal grove in a make up Monday and Jackson on Tuesday..

Last night they dressed almost all the jv kids for varsity and they played a lot.. I expect the same tonight..

Big question for Blue Devils is Mcellonds leg.. bad sprain maybe he is back next week.. if it is broken.. he is done for season.. that will put a poor ball handling team in even worse condition

Waverly splits the weekend going down to Wheelersburg Friday night but rebounding with a HUGE comeback win on the road at Lynchburg this afternoon. Tigers were down 8 midway through the 4th but came back to win it 56-54.
I don't think it will change Waverly's seeding as they will be the 4 or 5 which doesn't matter other than the color of unis they wear and where they sit.

Waverly 14-6 entering the seeding with 2 losses to Oak Hill and 2 losses to Wheelersburg. Wheelersburg gave Oak Hill their only loss.
Tigers need to win Tuesday at Northwest and at home next Friday vs Minford to hit the tourney on a win streak.

Talked to him at game at point pleasant last night.. they will reexamine his leg Monday..

Huge win by Blue Devils at point pleasant last night.. 52-49 in overtime.. trailed 27-15 at half.. they had massive foul trouble Blue Devils probably called for 30 fouls last night.. played entire 4th quarter almost and all overtime with 8 and 9 guys in rotation on floor..

Justin peck was still not 100%.. but he may of played the best that he has all year in second half and overtime both on offense and at the top of the diamond trap on defense..
If they can get this kid to play within himself and not talk trash and get upset.. he can be a tremendous force for them down the stretch...

You can't take the trash talking out of these head case kids... lol...They were let get by with this attitude and enabled by Parents and Coaching staffs from the time they played organized ball....These type kids will hurt a team more than they'll help them......Good luck with hoping things will change...It won't....lol....Most teams have a head case or 2.......

Maybe I misspoke.. Peck is usually his own worst enemy last night that was not the case.. Can he do it every night I do not know.. But last night he was a beast I think he had like 25 of the blue Devils 37 points in second half and overtime.. much like we haven't seen him since before he had the ankle problems around Christmas..

I agree no coach will ever fix it.. It has to be something the kid does and few ever can.. but if this kid would work really hard in office season to be in great physical shape for his senior year.. he would be dominant and have offers at the next level.. not at major schools but offers still the same.

Should be some good games. 8 seed Washington played 1 seed Miami Trace super tough a little over a week ago and they will play again right before the tournament starts.

They handled 9 seed Circleville pretty easily in early January, but you still never know what will happen come tournament time.
