Fun game between teams that want to get up and down the court and with outstanding lead guards.

Logan elm looks like they live and die by the three. Ridge Young(#2) and Caymen Bryant(#14) look like their best players. Should be fun to watch

Huge game for sectional seeding. Athens will play Marietta right after LE. Two big games back-to-back for the Dogs!

... Raider6309 ... LE went 6/20 from downtown vs Circleville imo 20 threepointers is probably average for hs hoops these days ... Points in the Paint for LE was 38 pts. so the Braves "get to the rim" as well ... obviously Ridge Young is the catalyst that makes LE go ... much like his older brother Dillon when he played for Coach Stiverson Ridge is seemingly impossible to stop even when you know what is coming LOL ... Bryant is a good role player just as the rest of the LE pieces ... you are right about the 3 ball in that IF it is falling the Braves will ride it until it stops falling ... throw in the fundamentally sound D that Coaches Holbert and Stiverson teach and LE is in every game they play ... I thoroughly enjoy watching Logan Elm play the game of basketball ...

Couldn't agree more Floyd! I love watching LE play, especially Defense. its amusing to listen to opposing schools fans screaming "get'em off of him"! year after year you'd think they would learn by now that you better be able to match LE's physicality.
No matter a full or empty the cupboard is at LE, Coach S defenses are no fun to play!!

I've always liked watching Stiverson coached LE teams even though he's from Logan

Stiverson's teams always remind me of the old Greenfield McClain teams on the defensive end. Where no matter how talented they were offensively, you knew that you were in for a struggle to score because of how physical and fundament they played defense. Always a pleasure to watch.

Logan Elm is still developing as a team, finding those options to go with one of the best players in the district in Ridge Young. Caymen Bryant has been the most consistent so far, but players like Colin Clark, Cody Anderson, Logan Holbert and Kamry Wright have also shown some flashes.

Logan Elm, as others have pointed out, is one of the most fundamentally strong teams in the district.

Obviously Athens has one of the other top players in the district in Griffin Lutz.

Should be a dandy.

Athens rolls, some serious underestimation of Athens new coach.

Whoever wins the battle between Lutz and Young will win the game. Rest of both teams Will need someone to step up To close for me call. Not sure if home court is an advantage as LE fans travel well. Good luck to both teams.

If trolls would stop trolling it would alleviate the off topic stuff.

LE vs Athens....coin flip IMO. LE will guard and defend and if they stay out of foul trouble I think they find a way to win. I'll be surprised if this game isn't close.

This has been a pretty good series since #7 Athens beat #2 Logan Elm 40-38 in 2012 tournament
11-12 Athens 40-38
12-13 Athens 56-53 OT (That was not a goal tend game)
Image
13-14 Logan Elm 60-59
14-15 Athens 61-55

Athens always seems to have a size advantage over LE but their 2/3 zone does well to limit paint points for Athens
