Very early to say teams 3-11 aren't good. There is potential for a few of those teams to be "not bad" later in the season.

Now that we're later in the season I'll make the comment...

3-11, not good.

These are from pfloyd's most recent rankings, so they probably don't have Tuesday's games added in.. but you get the idea.

3 teams with a winning record :o :o :o

Waterford (10-3)
Trimble (10-5)
Miller (7-5)
Belpre (5-10)
Symmes Valley (6-9)
St Joseph (6-9)
Southern (7-8)
Eastern Reedsville (4-8)
Green (2-15)
South Gallia (1-12)
Federal Hocking (0-16)

From top to bottom yes but one of these teams beat the PVC champions and a sure to be high seed in the east district D3.

Thank you. I just saw where Green beat Eastern Meigs by a decent margin. Green is a lot better than their record shows. My bold prediction is that Green gets out of this Sectional and plays at the Convo. I'm probably wrong, but it's fun to make predictions. Waterford seems for real. Hope they can knock off a Columbus School in Regionals. Trimble always has good athletes. I know nothing about Miller or Belpre. Symmes is playing better as of late. I could see SV making a run to the Convo. The best time of the year is getting closer and closer. Really looking forward to seeing how all the tourney draws play out.

If the draw is the same as last year Green would probably be in 8-9 game. A winnable game but winner would get Waterford. No Convo trip that route. If Green is in 7-10 game the winner would most likely get Trimble. Not a good route that way either ..

Outside of Waterford this sectional is embarrassingly weak compared to past years, there's such a skill gap between the 1 seed and everyone else, would like to see how far they can make it this year come tourney time
