Well, my vote doesn't count.Western24 wrote:With your seedlings Western would have Eastern and east would have peebles
I gave my top 8 IMO and then guessed how the coaches' votes will turn out

Clay impressive tonight against a good Western team. Played great team ball. 5 in double figures scoring. King left with leg injury in 4th hope he is okay.

Re: D4 Boys Northwest Sectional Teams and Outlook
I started out with records for each school then let head to head matchups come into play. Only disparity I have with that method is East ahead of Notre Dame, but feel like East playing better ball than ND in last week (ND loss at home to Symmes Valley really hurt). It's why I still have ND ahead of Western; SW ahead of ND; and East ahead of SW.
Regardless how seeds turn out, this has been a great thread. Started back in December (way too early) but going strong since then. None of these teams likely have a chance against whatever teams Columbus sends down to Regionals, but enjoy seeing fans of each school posting on here why their team deserves a higher seed. Reminds me why I love small school basketball in Ohio.*

Re: D4 Boys Northwest Sectional Teams and Outlook
I hope King ok as well. Clay already battled injuries with Hinze missing substantial time. I would hate to see King out bc it makes them a totally different team heading into tourney and especially hate seeing seniors lose time to injury.*Gold and Blue wrote:Clay impressive tonight against a good Western team. Re: D4 Boys Northwest Sectional Teams and Outlook
I'm guessing
1.) Clay
2.) Eastern
3.) Peebles
4.) Fairfield Leesburg
5.) East
6.) South Webster
7.) Notre Dame
8.) Western
9.) Manchester
10.) New Boston
11.) WhiteOak
East and SW may switch, ND and Western may switch... but the above posted seedings is my final prediction.

Great another good team in this sectional. Agree any given night.Should be some good competitive games. Hope the coaches vote with Clay the one seed, match what practically every poster has put on here since page 5. Clay won 16 straight with 19-2 record. Regardless tough sectional championship game.Ironman92 wrote:Whiteoak won at East Clinton tonight...East Clinton just last week beat Wimington by 13....and Wilmington beat Unioto by 18

Re: D4 Boys Northwest Sectional Teams and Outlook
A quick question for any coaches on here. Does SOS play into any of the voting? Is it beneficial for a DIV IV to try to play up via their schedule. I know it is hard sometimes to get DIV III to play down because it dampens their SOS.

It appears to be a bit more important in this particular sectional then in the past. For the last few years this sectional has been pretty true.fanman wrote:A quick question for any coaches on here. How long has each coach been with their team?
