Noticed Athens left town to play in the Plains can't figure why they didn't go to Dover.
Chauncey was probably flooded. Last time I drove through Chauncey, I saw a boxing ring in someone's back yard

Could have helped the swimming team.

Logan headed to Great event tomorrow night at Worthington.
They will face: Dublin Scioto, T. Worthington, Hilliard Darby, Eastmoor, Olentangy Liberty and Marion Harding. Should be a great tune up.

I'm glad to see all the teams to the north on their schedule and scrimmages. That's their future. They will find a league soon or be a part of a possible new conference in that direction.

How did the Chiefs do vs the Central District teams at the scrimmage last night ? looked like a BUNCH of teams playing in the scrimmage at Worthington ! ... In my opinion getting "film" vs THESE Central District teams to build TEAM & individual improvement around for the season is critical ...

Logan went 3-3 last night

They got "wins" vs Dublin Scioto, Harding and Columbus West. Lost to Darby by 2, TW was a 4 point defeat and Eastmoor was a larger defeat. All in all good exposure for Logan to play those types of teams to get ready

Grove City will be a tough challenge for sure. They will be led by Anthony Tyree; 6-5 SF/PF. He can defend and jump and is very athletic. He scored 24 points in 4 quarters vs Dublin Coffman last week. He reminds me of the kid from Chillicothe a few years ago, Malik London. GC also has a solid 2 guard in Zach Sammeth (6-2 SR) he hit 5 threes vs Coffman last week and can shoot it from anywhere. Logan will need to guard very well. PJ Jones will be starting his 3rd season at PG for GC and his is the floor leader for them and he is getting serious looks from Ohio Dominican. They also have another solid guard in Matt Burgess and Logan's guards will be tested a lot with this scrimmage. I am anxious to see a 6-5 Caden Landis vs Tyree and to see how our young guards play vs their aggressive experienced guards.

Chilly is at 9 am tomorrow.

Took in the scrimmage today and some thoughts:
*Grove City is a very very good basketball team. Athletic, long in the zone, can shoot and defend. They will win many games. Well coached and played well together.
*Wasn't sure what to expect from Logan due to the lack of seeing them but overall I was ecstatic with the product on the floor. Logan defended the post very well, they rebounded the ball extremely well and have a ton of young talent. Bo Myers is legit. Kid can shoot it from anywhere. The Bell guards were very impressive. The PG made very good decisions and his brother shot the ball well. Landis was just getting back after being out but he has all the ability to be a great inside guy but he can shoot as well and Henthorne will be tough to push around on the low block. Big, physical kid down low. Needs to stay out of foul trouble. Logan really played great defense today. They got after it. After 6 quarters it was 3-2 Logan and Myers hit a three at the end of the 6th quarter for a tie; so it as 3-2-1 final for Logan. I was impressed for sure. Logan will go again in the AM vs Chillicothe.

Another good showing today. Logan started off slow and lost the opening period but came back and won the second half of The game and the 4th was dominated by Logan. If this would have been a real game Logan would of won by 8 or so. Logan rebounded better today and defended better after the first period. It appeared they were just flat to start. Landis played much better, having a nasty two handed dunk on a break. This is a good group and will be fun to watch.
