Jackson results are interesting! Ups and downs or injuries or what? Good wins but some bad losses. Thoughts?

Couldn't get over hump tonight, trailed all game and every time they got close they seemed to give up a 3 to Hartsman? He hit 7 3's and they kept leaking off him just enough. He had 28 points. Anyways had it down to 1 and got a bad break and SE took advantage. They did play solid defense and rebounded very well. SE shot 11/19 from 3

If your going to play like Jackson plays.. a lot of games in 50's or low 60's a team hitting 10 or more 3's especially shorting 50% from out there is hard to overcome.. I mean you hit 11 three pointers make 5 other baskets whole game and 3 or 4 foul shots you are at 50 points

Thoughts on the Unioto game? How good is Unioto? I know they lost some key players from last years squad due to graduation.

I know Jackson is better than years past but the Shermans will not have a tough task at hand in this one. Unioto by 15+.

Was it two years ago Unioto came to Jackson and it was clear that scoring 100 was the only goal?

Unioto is the better basketball team but this should be a competitive game.

All depends on Jackson's outside shot. We make a few we'll be in it, if not, it will be will be a long night. Live by the 3 , die by it.

Either way shermans by at least 12

Starts a really tough part of Jacksons schedule coming up.

Three years ago, freshman Swackhamer hit the 100th point from the charity stripe and the Unioto bench went crazy. At least that is my recollection.

That is correct. Scored a lot in the 4th by letting us think the lane was open and we'd drive it in and they'd close it up and fast break the other way.

Yep, teams go through ups and downs. I remember Jackson pounding Athens in basketball back in the mid 2000's.

I don't remember Jackson ever consistently pounding people. Our best teams since the mid 80's beat teams....but pounding isn't a very typical word in Jackson basketball.

Maybe we'll get to that point....but if we do it'll be in a classy way.

The problem with Unioto was they went about 10 deep that year. Hard to tell kids not to score when the other team has given up. I wanna say Athens was up 50-10 on Jackson at half that year. Our starters were better than Unioto but their 5-10 were just as good as their starters
