Pierce Mowery of Zane Trace

Great email led to some great discussion on this week's SVC Sports Talk about a great player preparing for his senior season at Zane Trace...

I don't think there was any question about his athleticism, but if there was, he's certainly answered it the last couple years. Basketball, Track, Cross Country, Soccer, and now Football on the lists of sports he's excelled at in the last couple of years.

A truly special athlete and a treat to watch. Can't wait to see him in his senior year as he's goes after the top scoring spot in SVC history.

You ought to see him play baseball...maybe he will do same thing in the spring and play baseball as he did in the fall by playing football.

If he does ZT will be just that much better for it, he can flat play.

His father was also very good at numerous sports. Chip off the block.

Guess it's possible, because I don't think many people saw it coming when he decided to play football, but he's an excellent 400 and 200 runner and high jumper.

Mowery will have one of the best 400 time in the SVC going into the 2016. Does 6' or better in the High Jump. SEO will not have big numbers of boys jumping 6' ot better this season.

Brian hall jumped 6"6 last year I'm pretty sure

Trawick from Piketon went 6'8". He and Hall both will return for another season.
