How many varsity kids to Fort Frye have? I know in summer a ton of kids are doing other things. I know Tate is playing legion ball?

Re: Waterford Wildcats Hoops
Fort Frye seems to lose to teams they should beat in the tournament. I drove nearly 100 miles to see them play a couple of years back and they lost to a very average team.
Re: Waterford Wildcats Hoops
I like the schedule they have built. Hard to do with 16 league games and only 6 non league, but their non-league is one of the more impressive ones for a D4 I've seen in a while.
Portsmouth
Warren
Fort frye x2
Worthington Christian
Africentric

Going to be interesting if the Wildcat Hoops team comes out a little sluggish this year considering that some of their core players are on the football team that is making a nice playoff run.
The hoops team is talented but it may take them a little while to completely gel.

Good job, Waterford, on a very challenging non-conference schedule. More teams from the SE district should do the same. It will help the Wildcats come tournament time. I know it certainly has helped Portsmouth through the years.
Re: Waterford Wildcats Hoops
Same thing happened to our girls last year with volleyball. We will be right when we need to be.

Re: Waterford Wildcats Hoops
How can this be the case but everyone seems to dog on the coach? Who do you think picked these teams up? It sure wasn't the AD. Pretty intelligent coaching I'd say. Win or lose it gets your team ready for league play and the tournaments and that's all that matters. It's so funny how he gets all the blame when they lose and none of the credit when they do something good. Sad to see that from people at Waterford. The people there used to be better than that. Times have changed I guess. If I recall be had a pretty good record against FF the past 8 or 10 years. Better than any coach before him. Remember some of those things when you're running him down. He's given you all much to celebrate over the years. Take the good with the bad.trojandave wrote:Good job, Waterford, on a very challenging non-conference schedule. I haven't heard but once I hear I'll post it, still playing Friday vs Warren in foundation game... going be missing Welch, Lang, Huffman,Harris, and McCutcheon.. small injuries will be back and could play Friday just taking no risks
