D-IV Northwest Sectional Finals

Congratulations to Western and Eastern on their wins last night. That was the first time this season I was able to watch either team and was impressed by both teams and coaches. Coach Barrick and Coach Miller are two top notch coaches and will be strong competitors for years to come. Football strength will definitely help Eastern in the future and they look like they will be a sound disciplined team for some time ahead. After talking to some fans, it sounds like the SOC 1 will be very interesting to watch next year.
In the Western vs Notre Dame game it seemed like the officials were trying to set a record for the most offensive charging calls in one game. I lost count but at one point in the game 5 were called in about 2 minutes.

Congrats to the Soc 1 sending half the conference to the Convo! Good luck to all 4 teams..especially my Eagles! Nothing better than Sweet Lou telling us its Basketball 30 at the Convocation center!
