Also, doesn't appear that Landon Little played in this one either.

Updated after tonight's win.

A lot of good team play for the Chiefs in this one. Lots getting in the scoring column.

Bo Myers with 25 points
Caleb Bell with 22 points

Those are the two I have off the top of my head.

...THAT'S exactly what Caleb Bell IS capable of doing NIGHTLY for the Chiefs ... THAT performance just made the TEAM better going forward as every opponent will have to account for Caleb Bell just as they have to account for Bo Myers - the MORE pieces that an opponent has to account makes it more difficult to defend the Chiefs - usually an opponent has "A" outstanding defender - the thinking would be to put him on Bo ..NOW you have Caleb Bell who can go off for not 8-12 points but 20+ points ! he now DEMANDS attention defensively... defenses already know about Bo ... they already know that they better find Layton Cassady as he will light you up from the perimeter for at least his 3 treys per game ... the question marks have been Caleb Bell & Coby Bell - solid defensive players absolutely but can they really hurt you offensively - question answered last night ... throw in that the BENCH is now longer for the Chiefs ! - Justin Wolfe is becoming a VARSITY player with BIGS type size at 6-6 and a body that can't be pushed around AND he is hitting the boards/scoring - good stuff !!!! Tegan Myers IS a player - getting the opportunity in "game" time spots to get it done and he is ... Chiefs have gone from a 6 player to 8 quality player bench ... the coaching staff is making THIS TEAM better every time out ... look at the napkin stats- now scoring almost 65 ppg the last 3-4 games and holding opponents to 40-44 ppg ... tough road stretch of 7 games coming up - the Purple don't come home until Feb now ...

I hadn't realized this until now, but Logan only turned it over 5 times for a second straight game on Saturday night.

Good little write up about the Logan vs. Whitehall game from Darkell Curry of 270Hoops.

WHITEHALL, Ohio-- Behind a dominant performance from senior Bo Myers, Logan outlasted Whitehall on Tuesday night, 49-37.

Both teams got out to a slow start as the scoreboard read 2-2 four minutes in. Logan would then go on a run, but Whitehall would respond behind seven first quarter points from senior Roshean Bagley.

Taking a 17-12 lead into the second frame, Logan locked Whitehall up for the rest of the half, as the Rams mounted just five points in the quarter. The Chieftains took a 32-17 lead into the half behind 18 points from Myers.

Logan never looked back in the second half, as the lowest their lead would get was nine points. They were led by Myers with a dominant 29 point showing, and received a combined 13 points from role players Layton Cassady (seven points) and Caleb Bell (six points).

Senior Taylon Cofer led the way for Whitehall with 13 points. Bagley and sophomore K’ievon Wiggins also chipped in with 10 points a piece for the Rams, who now turn their focus towards Saturday’s league matchup with Columbus Academy.

Bo Myers (6’5 WG / Logan / 2019 ): At 6-foot-5, it is tough to find a matchup for the senior wing. He is very comfortable playing out of the post, where he shows great patience. I was impressed with his ability to pass out of double teams Whitehall threw his way and find open guys who were spacing the floor. The most impressive trait of Bo’s is that he plays the game at his own pace regardless of what the defense is doing. Whitehall played a trapping full-court man-to-man defense all night, but it did not bother him at all. He took his time and picked his spots all over the floor in order to make plays. He was also able to create his own shot off the dribble using his craftiness to make up for a lack of quickness. He scored at the rim, from the mid-range, and was automatic on catch and shoot attempts as well. Myers led all scorers, finishing with 29 points, 13 rebounds, and two steals. To simply put it, Malone is getting a killer and it’ll be fun to watch his growth over the years to come.

Taylon Cofer (6’0 G / Whitehall / 2019): Cofer is a player who is always in attack mode. He is the kind of guard that every coach wants. The senior guard plays both ends of the floor with maximum effort and leaves it all out there on the court. He has a quick first step that allows him get past defenders and into the lane, where he finishes consistently. Adding a more consistent outside shot is the next step for the senior guard. He led Whitehall in scoring finishing with 14 points, four rebounds, and two steals.

K’ievon Wiggins (6’3 WF /Whitehall / 2021) Wiggins is another intriguing prospect for the Rams. He has above average athleticism and can always be found in the mix fighting for rebounds and loose balls. He had a highlight block tonight, sending the opposing players shot out of bounds with authority. He primarily scores from 15 feet and in for now. One thing that we would like to see is K’ievon letting the game come to him naturally and doing things within the offense and flow of the game. At times he was a bit forceful tonight. Wiggins has improved a lot since we last saw him on varsity as a freshman and we look forward to seeing his growth. The sophomore stat sheet stuffed tonight, finishing with 10 points, seven rebounds, one block, and one steal.

With the cancelation of the game with Marion Franklin will that present the same opportunity as last year to search out for another HOME game . Logan only has 9 Home dates and it would be awesome for the TEAM and the COMMUNITY to get another game at JIMS GYM . Lots of cancelation today with some teams in the same boat . Just thinking out loud . lol

Logan should win by 8-10, but watch for 6’3/6’4 freshman Jared Frey. #14 for the Cardinals is already a stud (17.4 PPG) and can score in a variety of ways. I believe he had 25 or 26 against Fairfield Union last month.

I believe St. Charles sits at 10-4 right now, or at least it was last time I saw their record. Always a tough team to play, and St. Charles is always a tough place to play at. The gym feels sooo tiny, and it's just different.

Good luck to the Chiefs tonight!!
