Gallia will fit right down near the bottom of the OVC this year between 5th and 7th spot....Fairland will probably win with Ironton Portsmouth and SP in no particular order finishing 2 3 or 4......

Gallia not bad ...I'm not saying that I just don't think this will be their year...What grade is the Peck kid in? If he's back next year they will be tough to handle.....

He is a junior the only senior that gets playing time is #2 miles cornwell,... 6 of the 10 kids on varsity are sophomores or freshmen.

i am not sure where they will fit in OVC they won't finish 7th or 8th. But have no idea how good they are. I will be glad when they play some teams that like to get up and down the court some. I have them finishing 6-8 in league and finishing 5th but i really haven't scene other teams in league yet, besides, rock hill and chesapeake.

we will know a lot more about where they will finish after 1st week in January at Ironton at coal grove. lose both those games 5th or 6th about right win 1 or both of those then i dont know where they finish

Jackson 60
Gallia academy 57
Final
If this team continues to let other teams play there games instead of forcing our will on them 12 or 13 wins will be a lot

Blue devils 14 turnovers Jackson 8 still to many... Did Peck miss practice or school? Was curious why he didn't play 1st quarter... I really wish this team would decide on a style and play it...

How did you give it away? Jackson led the vast majority of the game. Up 7 with 3:30 left?

I wont say blue devils gave it away. and this is the best Jackson team i have seen in a while. But i will say this Blue Devil team right now should be beating Jackson at home or away. But they really cant seem to decide how they want to play. Once Peck entered the game unless he needed a quick breather. hey could of just feed him all night and as Jackson adjusted play off of that i think Blue Devils win going away. But they refuse to play that way except in spurts. it is very frustrating.... But Jackson played a great game enforced there will on them i give them total credit.

bighead, Regarding your reference to Ed Thompson transferring to Waverly. Your reference is dead on the money, Ed transferred to Waverly from New Boston round about 1970. New Boston at that time had a team that probably would have made final four in Columbus if Ed would have played his senior year there, that's when you had just a couple divisions of schools. Your also right about Woody, Ed played 4 years with Buckeyes great linebacker I think he is still like 9th in all time tackles. Thanks bighead for recalling old memories .

blue devils looked very rusty and out of sorts tonight. good win by tigers but is going to be a disappointing season if blue devils play like that...
