Miami Trace will be at the bottom of the league. They look to be down for some time unless they get some move ins.

Jackson went 8-1 in their scrimmage with Canal Winchester, Marietta, Eastern Meigs

Lost by 1 in the loss

Second hand info....I was watching freshman and JV scrimmages

Hillsboro’s Star RB Josh Keets could be a big scorer (assuming he plays)...strong kid that’s hard to stop.

I think they have a Haines kid about 6’3 and is a junior.

I think Mycroft graduated.
Thankfully Mycroft graduated lol. He was a force underneath for them last year. Keets was ineligible for the last half of basketball last year, but played well when they had him.

Wow, Canal Winchester & Marietta are pretty good teams. E. Meigs is a weaker team, and is trying to learn a new coaches way of play, he is a Jackson fellow isn't he ? What stood out for Jackson ? I take it you played by quarters. How deep is Jackson looking ? How did your Fr. & JV teams look ?

Any other FAC teams out there have any scrimmage info ?

I think JV only played about 7 kids and went 2-5 and freshman only played 7 and 2 of those also with jv...freshman went 5-2.

Varsity I didn’t get to see much at all. They should be really good 7 deep and 8-11 could be really useful as well. Time will tell. It’s very early.

McClain, Chillicothe, and WCH all won their first FAC games tonight. It sounded like the McClain/Jackson game was well worth the price of admission! It looks like it could be an exciting year of FAC basketball if everyone stays healthy. Can’t wait for the WCH/Chillicothe game on Tuesday, should find out how good WCH is this year. Tonight was the first game for big man Richie Burns and he was solid on the glass with double digit rebounds and protected the paint very well. Hillsboro is having some team issues and Miami Trace is way down this year but the other 4 teams in the league sound like they could absolutely compete for the FAC title. I know it’s stil very early but so far I’m impressed with our league!
