Notre Dame had the game as they were up 6pts with about 2:30 left in game. Couple of missed free throws and some big shots by Eastern sent it to overtime. Overall a great game and about what we expected in this sectional.

I'll say this for Notre Dame...not too many schools in seOhio did more with less this year. They have no depth (maybe 14 players in whole program) but somehow clawed their way to a pretty solid season and were that close to a sectional championship. Likewise, Tom Barrick keeps getting it done at Eastern. Good luck to the Eagles at the Convo.*

The Northwest sectional has lived up to its billing........East vs. Leesburg Fairfield, Notre Dame vs. Eastern, and South Webster vs. Peebles. Outstanding basketball games with huge crowds. Missed FT's really hurt the Titans last night......the Eagles took advantage of it and move on to Athens.

Coach Anderson did a fine job, just missed some free throws and key shots down the stretch.
