Congratulations to Robert Fouty. New Head Basketball Coach at Wellston High School. Hired by 4 to 1 vote with Terry Gill voting no. Look for good things to happen for the Golden Rockets.

Hopefully it works out for everyone. Trying times, and most schools are struggling to work through all of this. Fall and winter sports are struggling through the new normal.

Congrats to Robert Fouty also. Has he been an assistant on the Wellston coaching staff before being hired ?

Coach Fouty is a young coach who worked his way up. Most recently he coached the JV team.

Bad hire for Wellston--should have went "outside" to get someone new--been a bad program for a lot of years--school board always take the easy way out.

Also heard after the passing of Mr Derrow--they could have hired Howie Caldwell or Mr,. Persin -- but board went the easy way-- and they have paid for it ever since. they have had a lot of good talent leave because out it.
