Re: The Peake Summer Basketball
The boys ended play at Marshall today with some good wins.
Beat Martin County Ky 52-25.
Beat Tug Valley 61- 47 who was WV AA champs last year and sure they lost a player or two.
Beat Cincinnati Aiken 55-45 . They have a 6'7" or so guy being recruited by Marshall.
Over all a good couple of days for the team. The younger guys are getting playing time and learning experience.

The Peake was back in their home gym today
They scrimmaged Wayne County WV. The games or quarters was four 15 minute and one 15 minute. The only close one was the last one. The Peake won all five.
JV played two 10 minute quarters or games and was 1-1.
The boys were a little tired after playing Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The Peake traveled to Cincinnati yesterday to Mount Saint Joseph University. Played 3 games in pool play. Beat Seven Hills (div 5) by 24
Beat Cincinnati Country Day (div. 6) by 40
Beat Goshen (div 3) by 6
These games were 2 -18 minute halves with running clock. Then single elimination playoff.
Beat Little Miami ( div 1) by 16 I believe
Beat East Central , Ind. (div 4A) by 12
Beat Goshen again this time by 3.
These were 20 minute games.
6-0 for the day and beat some good teams. Saw a lot of good players from that area. Goshen had a guard take could light you up on the 3. Also had a 6'9" big man.
The team played hard and glad I made the trip. The people running the games were great people and it was well organized. Only thing 6 hours down and back made a long day.
