Lots of fender benders on that corner pulling out of that place over the years. Seen a few crashes myself back in the 80's while filling up the E box truck.  Smack and booms, pretty hard hits sometimes.  It's a pain in the rear on a busy day, I would have paid the 2.49 across the street with calmer nerves. It can be bad there too but not as bad as the cramped up crazy corner. Ole Big Head loved to buy his cigarettes there.     I'll stick with Certified, not the best place but BR swears by the good quality gas there he says. See JG there lots too filling up his business trucks every now and then.     See him looking all around when he's over there. :D

That place across from sardine box has a higher defcon level. A lot of people used to think Certified watered down their gas back in the 80's, have not heard them rumors for years now, probably bout the same where ever you get it.

Imagine the def-con level in a fender bender scene on that corner somewhere. All eyes would be on that, light bar and all. I would take the 2.49 def-con chance across the street. :? Not as aggravating either and would be worth a few cents more. BR has been getting his gas at certified for years, never mentioned any watered down gas there, although he has mentioned other places that he thought had moisture in the gas. My cars all run fine on it. I remember getting gas at one of these gas stations but I can't remember which one but my car would cut out and a pinging noise real bad from moisture/water in it. Think it was the speedway on Hunter before they changed the name to speedway, lots of people called it sad azzz.  Think both of them was called Super America?? But the one on Hunter was worse than the one on Mulberry with cheap gas and the pinging.

That Ranger I had pinged real bad and I thought it was Speedway gas I was getting, turns out it was the spark plugs, same thing happened to the car I got now it would almost stall and the check engine light would come on. Put new plugs in and runs like a champ on any gas!

Brand New Z-24 at the time and it was pinging so it wasn't any type of plug trouble I had and no check engine light came on for me. I changed gas stations after I was told to buy a mechanic at the old Bellville car lot on second st, and it ran like a champ after. The moisture from sad azz that he mentioned was my culprit. I always bought gas there every time before I headed out 664 to JG trailer back then, :D it had that brand new Z pinging pretty bad. Had another car that pinged going up hills, and cheap gas was the culprit in it as well but can't remember which station, but I started to buy my gas at Mick's Sunoco and the pinging quit in it too. Merry Christmas Seymor.

And some didn't take precautions at Hunter sad azz in the real late 80's and early 90's. Because they definitely was getting moisture in they're gas some how. First thing the mechanic ask me at Bellville was where I bought my gas usually, I told him, right away he knew the problem. He checked the car anyways because it was still under warranty, couldn't find anything and said change gas stations.

I don't think I ever had that problem there. Got a lot of gas there back in the day. I thought it might have been a culprit for my pinging but it wasn't. You would think they would get caught if they kept it up. The thing you got to worry about now is how much ethanol they put in which reduces mileage and can possibly damage a non flex engine.

There's always something to worry about and be stressed over. One thing right after the other. :? Seen a road rage in progress today while I was mowing. Almost a fight, it was a dandy. Always a real nervous treat around here with in minutes of being out there.  Never fails. :? Now, back to gas prices.
