Bones and Grimm will not be back, but I think they found this out during the making of these two for this season.

I really liked that show.  :( I'm hoping they bring it back sometime.

Appears CBS has yanked Doubt off the air after airing only two eps. It's about an attorney who's falling for her client, who's accused of murder.

Given its abysmal Neilsens, especially in the age 18-24 demo, it appears this one's history.

Loox as if Time After Time has bit the dust.

Not too many cancellations going on right now, as the nets are preparing to air their usual summer garbage, reviewing their options for existing shows & contemplating new ones, while scrambling for sponsor money for their new seasons.

Loox as if s'more shows got cut as the summer junk-TV season looms.

Biggest chop is CBS' 2 broke Girls, which didn't have horrible Neilsens. And, there's the inevitable whittling -down of crime-procedural shows, as the airwaves were becoming saturated with them. Latest to fall are NBC's the Blacklist: Redemption & ABC's American Crime,, along with Notorious & Conviction.

There are others. I'll report them as I verify the accuracy of reports of their demises. (I don't follow the network-ettes too closely.)

Did anyone watch Pitch on Fox? Saw where that didn't get renewed for a second season, I was pretty disappointed it was a really good show.

Yeah, Chieftain, I watched it some. Unfortunately, no matter how good a show is, if it doesn't have the Neilsens, it gets axed.

Some recent cancellations by the major nets include some police/procedural shows, as that genre was becoming overcrowded. They include Chicago Justice (NBC), Shots Fired(Fox), & Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders(CBS). Also getting the chop was CBS' The Odd Couple, whose re-incarnation didn't have the charm of the original.

NBC has dumped The Carmichael Show; it just wasn't too funny & the Neilsens doomed it. Same for ABC's Downward Dog. Just cuz a show was successful in Britain doesn't mean it will be here. (Different cultures, different performers, scripts, etc.)
