Oldest WW2 vet in Southeastern Ohio

Probably in their mid to late 90s.

Guys born between 1923 and 1927 would have been 18 during the years we were in the conflict and could have entered the war. Those guys would be 88 to 92 years old. I'm sure there are a few still with us. And there were some guys who managed to enlist before they were really truly 18 years old, so there could be an 86 or 87 year old WWII Vet. Both of my grandfathers served, one in the South Pacific and one in Germany. Both have passed away.

My grandpa served in the South Pacific as a welder/fabricator on board several different ships. He just passed away in February, and I miss talking to him and watching him make something out of nothing!
