The Darkness (2016)

There is a movie that just came out on June 7th call "Independents Day" (NOT to be mistaken for the upcoming "Independence Day: Resurgence") that I am currently watching. This "mockbuster" is directed by my cousin, Laura Beth Love, who is also the cinematographer for the film and the voice of the "Alien Queen" and can also be seen as a pilot in the early stages of the movie. The movie can be found and streamed online. It is from a company called Asylum, who makes a lot of "mockbusters" and uses film titles that are close to top named movie titles. Laura Beth has also worked on the "Sharknado" movies

Last Night (2010) very talky, pretty boring and gutting picture

The Dramatics: A Comedy (2015) literally one scene made me laugh. Awful movie

My Suicide: Archie's Final Project (2010) digs deep into the mind of a depressed teenager. Get through the entire film for the message to shape itself, I almost quit it early because of the weird jumpcuts early on. Very good movie.

Modern Romance (1981) imo, not Albert Brooks' best work. Too obnoxious for my taste

Bad Moms (2016) very crass, but very funny movie. Not much story, but sometimes there doesn't have to be. Much better than Bridesmaids when it comes to female driven comedies.

My All-American (2015) if you can't make me cry in a heartbreaking sports story, then there is something wrong with the movie. Inspiring real life story would be better to read about.

Opening Night (2016) about a HS production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Only watch for the gorgeous lead actress, not much else here.

Batman: The Killing Joke (2016) the best Batman story is brought to film in this animated pleasure. Mark Hamill as the Joker is amazing in this dark and twisted picture. Definitely not for everybody.

Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates (2016) throw this one under my review for Bad Moms, not much story, but very funny throughout. Anna Kendrick and Sugar Lyn Beard steal the show amongst regular (and very funny) comedic actors.

The Sting (1973) Redford and Newman team up again in another classic. The musical score in this movie is unreal. A great, great movie.

Suicide Squad it was an Awesome movie!! Margot Robbie nailed Harley Quinn perfectly and Will Smith as Deadshot was awesome. Jared Letos Joker is a little creepy. Like the past 3 jokers have had a bit of an edge or creepiness to them, but you could still stand to be in the same room with them, but Letos Jokers was creepy to the 10th power.
