366 Movie Challenge

Starting in a few minutes, I'll be starting the Movie-A-Day Challenge for 2016. Since it is a leap year, there will be one more day. The goal is to widen your taste of movies by watching a new movie (to you) for every day of the year, which is why it is more difficult.

1. Go (1999) -- No, thanks. I'd rather stay.

2. The Seven Five (2014) -- Dirtiest Cop ever leads to an amazing true story.

3. The Hateful Eight (2015) -- Tarantino hits another home run with Downtown.

[danicalifornia]

4. Foodfight! (2012) -- This garbage cost $65 Million to make.

I planned on trying to do a 10 word or less description of all the movies I watch, but this one needs way more. This project started in 1999, projected for a Christmas 2002 release...well, the original footage was stolen. This thing sat in limbo for nearly a decade and the money kept building. The final movie is the worst animation that I have ever seen. I don't even know how to describe the story, but don't ever watch it.

Charlie Sheen, Wayne Brady, Hilary Duff, and Eva Longoria are the main voices in it. I feel like each of them were somehow tricked into doing it.

If I was grading this, it would be an Incomplete. I can't even give this an F.

When I was in HS and early on in college, my friends and I would intentionally rent bad movies...this was the worst I've ever seen. I'm going to watch The Room before the end of this year and I'm hoping that beats this, but this currently the worst movie ever, in my opinion.

5. Cheap Thrills (2014) -- Unreal the lengths people will go for money.

6. Atari: Game Over (2015) -- E.T. And the Video Game Crash of 1983.

7. Desk Set (1957) -- Tracy and Hepburn with amazing chemistry

8. Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) -- Animated and incredibly boring.

9. The Reverent (2015) -- Leo, Hardy, Iniarritu, and a bear. Breathtakingly beautiful.

10. The Warriors (1979) -- I certainly did not dig it.

11. Hoffa (1992) -- I like my Nicholson more over the top.

12. Killing Jimmy Hoffa (2014) -- Interesting doc that covers all of the theories of his death.

13. Obvious Child (2014) -- Abortion Comedy that has some seriously hilarious moments

14. A Trip to the Moon (1902) -- I prefer Tonight, Tonight. Still great though.

15. Reel Injun (2009) -- Enthralling look at Native Americans in cinema.

16. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014) -- Solid return to Basin City.

17. The Big Short (2015) -- Outstanding acting and direction about 2008 Housing collapse.

18. Let's Kill Ward's Wife (2014) -- Eh, she was unbearable.

19. Margin Call (2011) -- They really are stretching it when they call this a thriller.

20. Too Big to Fail (2011) -- Scary how necessary the 2008 Bank Bailouts were.

21. Kick Ass 2 (2013) -- Chloe Moretz saves this from being dreadful.

22. Pride & Prejudice (2005) -- English movies aren't my cup of tea

23. The Aviator (2004) -- Leo, man, Leo. Fascinating story of Howard Hughes.
