Ok, either the holiday weekend has kept posters away or I have really stumped people with the remaining questions!
Who was the very first opponent NY faced in Week 1 of the very first season of football after consolidation and what was the final score?
Answer - the first ever game for the Buckeyes was a non-league game against the Warren Warriors at Warren. NY won 22-6.

7. What four teams did NY play non-league in football during the three years the Buckeyes were in the SEOAL?
1. Warren - 3 games
2. Vinton County - 3 games
3. Fort Frye - 2 games
4. Southern - 1 game
The NY Southern game in '67 was the only contest ever between the two schools. It was a late season matchup after SEOAL league play began. With Meigs consolidating in '67, Ironton could not join in time to play in the league in '67, so the 1 year hole in the schedule for NY was replaced with Southern. NY only played 9 games that season, so that is why there is one less game listed on this list.

12. How big was the Nelsonville-York City School District at the time of consolidation? (Total number of students K-12).
Answer - 2,100 students. By the early 80's, it was down to 1,700. By the early 90's, it was down to a little over 1,500. Today, it is a little over 1,300. By comparison, Trimble has around 1,000 students today. This means that if NY and Trimble consolidated today, the new school would have just over 2,300 students or only a little over 200 more students than NY had when Nelsonville and York consolidated in '67.

16. Who was the last SEOAL league opponent NY faced in '69 and what was the final score?
Gallia Academy 50 NY 6
This was the last time NY and Gallia Academy played each other. Gallia is the only former SEOAL rival of Nelsonville that NY has not played since leaving the SEOAL.
