The Associated Press said that they would continue publishing their Top 25 poll in the event that college football is played, which is great news for the AP, I guess. Sports Editor, Michael Giarrusso, said that once games kick off, it wouldn't make sense to rank teams that are not participating. I see Michael why you have earned that position that you are presently holding.

I often wonder if we even pay very much attention to all of the preseason polls anymore ? Most of the time they are a popularity poll from the previous years teams anyway, and the same teams are always going to be there. Of course with the College Football Playoffs now, their poll at the end of the season is the only one that really means anything.
