This was a competitive game throughout and by the time all was said and done it was the mid major team getting the win over the power five conference team. Fairfield (2-6) used a 35 point effort by Landon Taliaferro (Boulder, CO) to post a much needed win over Texas A&M (3-4). Taliaferro went 10-14 on three point shots. Vincent Eze (Lagos, Nigeria) aided in the win with 10 points and 13 rebounds. For the Aggies Savion Flagg (Alvin, TX) led the way with 17 points and 4 rebounds.
