The Wildcats (4-1) seems to have recovered nicely after the whipping at the hands of Ohio State. In this game Mississippi State (5-1) at times looked every part of the undefeated team they were coming in, at other times they looked like a team, that had not faced anything like Villinova at this point of the season, which they hadn't. Leading the winners with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists was Jeremiah Robinson-Earl (Overland Park, KS). Saddiq Bey (Largo, MD) added 17 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists.
