THE SPARTANS ARE NATIONALLY RANKED AND HAD ONLY ONE LOSS UNTIL YESTERDAY. THE BUCKEYES HIT THEIR STRIDE IN THE 2ND QUARTER AND LAID THE WOOD TO THE SPARTANS. THE SPARTANS WERE A VERY SOLID TEAM. AND ARE GONNA WIN A LOT OF GAMES. BUT THE BUCKEYES ARE JUST THAT MUCH BETTER. AND UP NEXT ARE THE NORTHWESTERN WILDCATS AND THE FIGHTING FITZGERALDS ARE A VERY WORTHY OPPONENT. State's advantage in athleticism is as such the Bucks should roll by 28 points or more, but with Wisconsin looming in three weeks, will Day and company be guilty of looking ahead during the bye week? That and the reemergence of some undisciplined moments against Sparty might give NW an outside chance against the Bucks.

I really like Fitz as a coach. People say that Dantonio maximizes talent at MSU (which he does) but Fitz takes it to another level at NW.

NW lacks a really good QB and they lack an O line that can keep Chase Young and Co out of their backfield. Expect them to try a lot of the same things that MSU had a little success with against the Bucks.

Coaching is one thing but if you dont have the talent on the field you wont hang around too long. Trick plays only work so many times.

This could easily be a trap game - night game on a Friday @ Northwestern. However, I have seen very few weaknesses out of this Buckeyes team so I look for them to stay focused and come back 7-0!
