The Buckeyes (6-7-1) took one on the chin in East Lansing on Saturday, falling to Michigan State (3-7-3) by a final score of 3-1. OSU got on the board first when Matteo Bennati scored his third goal of the season in the 27th minute, to give the Buckeyes their only win. The Spartans would go on to score three unanswered goals, including two in the second half to seal the victory.

Xavier Kennedy recorded 7 saves in goal for the Buckeyes. While the Spartan's Hunter Morse recorded 6 saves.

Next up, Ohio State will host Maryland on Friday.

Playing a top 25 team is never easy, even at home, and the Buckeyes found that out on Friday. OSU fell to #22 Maryland by a final score of 2-0. The Terrapins scored in the 36th and 85th minutes of play for the only two goals of the game.

Maryland goalkeepers recorded 6 saves, while Buckeye goalkeepers tallied 4 saves.

Ohio State wraps up the regular season this week, as they play at Indiana on Tuesday, and host Wisconsin on Sunday.

Facing a top 10 team on the road on Tuesday, the Buckeyes were hit hard as they fell to #10 Indiana by a final score of 5-1. The Hoosiers scored 2 goals in the first 10 minutes of play. Before spreading out their next two goals in the 30th and 60th minutes of play. OSU was then able to save a little pride in Bloomington, when Jack Holland scored his 5th goal of the season in the 77th minute of play. Indiana then closed out the game, scoring in the 79th minute of play.

Parker Siegfried tallied 4 saves but gave up 5 goals for the Buckeyes in goal. Hoosier goalkeeper, Roman Celetano, needed just 1 save to record the win.

Next up, Ohio State wraps up their regular season on Sunday when they host Wisconsin.

Playing an extremely close match on Sunday, the Buckeyes fell to Wisconsin in Columbus, 1-0, in their final regular season match. The only goal of the game came from the Badgers in the 52nd minute.

Ohio State will play in the first round, play-in game of the Big Ten Tournament against Rutgers on Saturday in Bloomington.

On Saturday, the Buckeyes were able to extend their season by another day, after defeating Rutgers in the play-in game to the Big Ten Tournament, by a final score of 1-0. But, they ran into a buzzsaw on Sunday in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament, playing Indiana and falling 2-0.

This will end the season for the Buckeyes.
