Stanford has won their 9th title in program history in D1 men's golf, and their first one since 2007. Matthew Wolff of Oklahoma State ran away with the individual national title through 4 rounds of play, shooting a crazy impressive 10-under par. Through the 4 rounds of play, Oklahoma State led the field by 31 shots, with a 16-under par, and the second ranked team heading into match play was Vanderbilt at 15-over par. That ended up not even mattering, as the Cowboys didn't make it to the national title match.

Stanford's run to the national title was impressive and they lived on the edge. After stroke play they qualified for match play in 6th. Their run to the title looked like this:

vs. #3 Wake Forest - W 3-2
vs. #2 Vanderbilt - W 3-2
vs. #5 Texas - W 3-2

I watched it on the ESPN app. I think you can watch a replay on there. It was a heck of a meet. The women's meet will wrap up tonight as well.
