The Badgers (27-5 overall, 4-2 Big Ten) used a nine run first inning, to cruise to a 12-3 win over Penn State (17-17, 2-4). Kayla Konwent (Salem, Wis.) had four hits, including a big homer run. She also had a double. Kaitlyn Menz Waukee, Iowa W, 11-2) got the win.

For Penn State, Kylee Lingenfelter ( Punxsutawney, Pa. L, 7-2) started and took the loss. She lasted 1/3 of an inning.
